Background
The GP2040-CE Open Source team has done it! They made PS4 and PS5 authentication possible through the use of a simple USB add-on. Plug in your MayFlash Magic Boots Version 1.1 into two consecutive pins on the Pico Fighting Board with some resistors, wiring, and patience and you can add this capability too! That sounds a bit too janky for me and a lot of work for you, so I took it one step further and designed a fully integrated solution that mounts beautifully into your fight stick, right under the IPFB board, has the wiring you need already made up, and even a nice (optional) 3D printed caddy to hold it all together while looking amazing.

Hardware Specifications
The USB Addon for the IPFB is simple. It converts a USB A Female Jack to a JST connector with some resistors and a fuse on the 5V line to make the overall build and assembly a snap. Plug your MagicBoots (or Wingman) into one side and the JST cable into the other. The other end of the JST cable gets plugged into the IPFB connection where GP24, 25, 29, 5V and GND are broken out. If you have version 2.0 of the IPFB, this connector is already installed. If you have the previous version, you will need to solder one in (available as an optional addon).
There are NO TRACES on the bottom of the PCB, so its perfectly acceptable to double stick tape it in place or use PCB stand off feet. The holes are 5mm diameter.

- Mayflash MagicBoots 1.1 or Brook Wingman Converter. MagicBoots should be $20. Don't over pay!

How it Works
The IPFB pulls the authentication keys from the MagicBoots 1.1 and passes it to the PS5. This means you aren't adding lag by passing the signal through a converter. The IPFB when in PS4 Arcade Stick mode (set in the User settings Web GUI) acts just like a PS4 fight stick and you can use it on PS5 fighting games (other games aren't supported... Thanks Sony).

Mounting Caddy 3D Models for Printing
The following file is provided for at home, personal, non commercial printing. This means you may print it for yourself and others but may not charge for it. There are two STP files provided, the top and bottom piece. I recommend printing with the flat sides down so you don't require supports. Standard infill is fine and no rafts are required. PLA works great. You will need longer #4-40 screws to hold it all together in your stick. 1.125" long should be perfect.
