JLF Shafts on their own are functional pieces of hardware. Made from stainless steel and polished they look fine and more often than not get covered up with a black plastic cover to help them look better. About three years ago (or so) I decided to take it up a notch and design my own shafts that fit the JLF but also had the final dimension and fit of a stock JLF shaft with cover installed but came in way more colors with the added benefit of a lighter weight materials. My shafts were very popular in Japan, selling through the huge parts distributor in Akihabara and Osaka Sengoku Densyo. Now, I am finally bringing them back to my own shop for sale!
Notable differences:
- Material is Aluminum instead of steel, so its lighter weight overall.
- Anodized finishes are either smooth or blasted. The blasted has a nice texture and the smooth is polished smooth before anodizing.
- The final shaft dimensions are fatter than original without a shaft cover, identical as one with a shaft cover installed.
These are a batch of shafts that are NOT coordinated with the aluminum panzer dress up parts such as the bezels, aux buttons, and neutrik surrounds. The still look and function great, but they are not from the same lot of anodizing material.
Fits all standard M6 threaded ball tops and bat tops. Requires the dustwasher that is used with shaft covers since these are thicker than stock!
