The Panzer SLAB: Hall Effect Edition

The SLAB is our "thinner" all-button controller, designed around the philosophy of simple builds, interchangeable parts, ERGONOMICS, and the use of high-quality, well-supported fighting boards by Brook. Built from machined aluminum with a premium bottom grip pad, the SLAB delivers the Panzer build quality the FGC has trusted since 2012 - in a streamlined form factor.

The Hall Effect edition uses our proven HE system - the same technology found in the Panzer 5 - compatible with full-size magnetic switches such as the Gateron Jade and Jade Pro, per-button actuation control via our custom GUI and firmware, and the new Brook Gen5X Mini as its fighting board. Choose your plexi overlay, caps, and hall effect switches separately so you get exactly what YOU want without additional and unnecessary costs.

Ergonomics: The Hand Triangle

The SLAB's all-button layout is engineered around the natural "hand triangle" — the formation created when your index fingers and thumbs are positioned on the controller. Your two index fingers sit at the top, forming the apex of the triangle closer together, while your two thumbs rest below them, spread slightly wider to form the base. This four-point triangular positioning keeps your wrists in a neutral, strain-free posture and distributes pressure evenly across your hands.

At just 40mm tall, the SLAB's low profile means your hands sit close to your desk or lap, reducing the wrist extension that causes fatigue during long tournament sets and extended practice sessions. The result: you play longer, you play better, and you play without pain.

100% PS5 Compatible: Brook Gen5X Mini

The SLAB ships with the Brook Gen5X Mini fighting board included — the latest generation from Brook with native support for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Ultra-low latency technology ensures your inputs register with tournament-grade precision. Four SOCD modes keep you compliant with Capcom Pro Tour and EVO rulesets.

The Gen5X Mini can be removed and replaced without any soldering - just like every other component in the SLAB! When the next generation of fighting boards arrives, you upgrade the board, not the controller.

Integrated OLED Display - INCLUDED

Unlike previous Panzers, the SLAB features the OLED screen that Brook integrated into the new Gen5X. This display gives you real-time feedback on your current console mode, SOCD setting, and configuration — no guesswork, no reaching for your phone or laptop mid-session. Everything you need to know is right on the controller.

RGB LED Lighting - INCLUDED

Also a a much requested return to the Panzer line - the SLAB features RGB LEDs driven by the Brook Gen5X Mini. Modes and options available are dependent on Brook's firmware. Each button on the Panzer SLAB has an addressable RGB.

Hall Effect Precision

Using the power of magnets and Hall Effect sensors, we know where the magnet in each switch is located at all times. This allows us to convert any position along the magnet's linear travel into a "button press" using our sophisticated PCB and custom firmware. Full-size  magnetic Hall Effect switches give you per-button control of actuation points via our custom GUI. We recommend Gateron Jade / Jade Pro switches, however, our userbase have found many other switches that are compatible. Here's their list.

Zero-Solder Repairability

Every component in the SLAB is designed to be swapped without soldering. The Brook Gen5X Mini can be removed and replaced without picking up a soldering iron. Hall Effect switches are hot-swappable. Cables connect via JST connectors. A bad switch doesn't mean a trip to the repair shop. A new fighting board generation doesn't mean buying a whole new controller. The SLAB is built to outlast platforms.

1/4-20 Accessory Mounts

Both sides of the SLAB feature two 1/4-20 threaded inserts - the same universal standard used by cameras, tripods, and professional audio gear. Attach straps, handles for easy transport, or mount a camera or microphone for streaming. Your setup, your way.

Plexi Overlay Artwork

Just like all Panzers, the SLAB uses plexi overlays so you can have sweet art. Express yourself with custom designs as unique as your playstyle.
