The Madcatz TE2 EZ MOD: Making modifications the TE2 simple since 2016. Compatible with all TE2 models (PS and XBOX - NOT THE PS4 TES+ with RYU) it allows you to replace the stock PCB and wire up any compatible PCB to the remaining stock wiring easy. Note: PCB color may be green, blue, black, or red upon arrival depending on which batch the board was produced in.

Madcatz made design choices with the TE2 stick that make straight modifications a bit more challenging - if you want to make it 100% functional with external PCBs, you want the EZ MOD. All the buttons on the aux panel will work fine and the internal wiring harness will connect right up to the EZ MOD itself. The included wiring interlinks the EZ MOD with any Brook PCB (UFB, PS4, PS4+ Audio, Fusion) or the recommended Integrated Pico Fighting Board. The IPFB USB header is different than the Brook headers so, you will need to adapt the USB jumper wire for it. It's not hard, but does require either soldering to the bottom of the IPFB or crimping new ends on the non-locking black connector side; additionally since I opted to forgo a standard DP/LS/RS connector on the IPFB, there wont be a connection between the EZ MOD and IPFB for one spot, this is FINE. Using proper jumper placement you can set what the top two buttons (not home) are set as. Normally, I recommend TP click and either L3 or R3.

INSTALLATION NOTES

NOTE: The EZ MOD does nothing of value by itself. Your stick will not work with any PC, console, or otherwise with just the EZ MOD. This is just a highly advanced wiring circuit that converts all the signals so the stock MCZ parts work with an aftermarket addon.

Includes: EZ MOD PCB, wiring, and 2x .100" PC jumpers.

Install notes: You will need to cut your pro cable off of the stock board and wire it to the EZ MOD. Please cut it as CLOSE to the stock PCB as possible using flush trimmers so you have the most wire to work with. This is CRITICAL.
